Do you get an error message? (on-screen or in the apache error log)

Which version of PHP? (I have feeling you run 4, don't you?)

Finally, it's definitely the editor from test2 and not test1 isn't it? 
The test1 editor was pretty rough in a number of places including basic 
stuff like creating new links.
