I think the permision are set right:
[root@monitorizare1 weathermap]# ls -l configs/
-rw-r--r-- 1 apacheuser apachegroup 19622 2009-06-18 09:23 coredistrib   
     //this one is not working
-rw-r--r-- 1 apacheuser apachegroup  3519 2009-06-15 17:47 providers    
       //this one is working right

The coredistrib has many links, about 60-70 links.
I have checked for a few: and they are in the configs

[root@monitorizare1 weathermap]# less configs/coredistrib | grep LINK\ 
node09650-node08613
LINK node09650-node08613         //on this one the info url is working 
but the hover graph is not working

[root@monitorizare1 weathermap]# less configs/coredistrib | grep LINK\ 
RSMLT-Core-Core2IT-4/4-Dsitr2B1-4/4
LINK RSMLT-Core-Core2IT-4/4-Dsitr2B1-4/4      //on this one neither 
hower graph nor info url is not working


I have checked the path and the graph id in the folowing way:
From the weathermap editor, i have copied what was under Info Url and 
Hower Graph url for example for link RSMLT-Core-Core2IT-4/4-Dsitr2B1-4/4:
Info url: /cacti/graph.php?rra_id=all&local_graph_id=100
Hower Url: 
/cacti/graph_image.php?local_graph_id=100&rra_id=0&graph_nolegend=true&graph_height=100&graph_width=300
   And then, i paste this in a web browser like this:
http://192.168.53.248/cacti/graph.php?rra_id=all&local_graph_id=100      
        //it works right
http://192.168.53.248/cacti/graph_image.php?local_graph_id=100&rra_id=0&graph_nolegend=true&graph_height=100&graph_width=300   
  //also works right


What do you mean by "generate them manually"? Is it "Recalculate all 
maps now" options?
